Post Inauguration bliss.

All I can say is that my faith in the American people has been restored. Attending the inauguration of President Obama was an amazing experience. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was so excited and happy. I never would have imagined a gathering of 2 million people could go so smoothly and effortlessly. Strangers hugging, smiling, crying, cheering... it was pure joy.

Sharing the experience was Kelly, Buck, Camp, Wade, Eric, and Greg. Eric + Greg were the most amazing hosts, and the river taxi was simply the insider secret.

party party party...

Now, this morning Kelly is at a meeting so I continue with the music mission.
Once she is finished, we are off to San Antonio for another party.

Upon our return on Suday, we'll be heading to Roller Disco night to celebrate the birthday's of William, Greg, and Deanne.
It'll be a school night, so will I learn my lesson...? We'll see.

I never learn

So, Thursday night Kelly had her Ladies Night so I thought it would be a good idea to go out with Darren. Started at Nonna, sat at the bar and preceeded to drink too much wine, the lobster ravioli was delicious. Then for some reason I agreed to go to Victor Tango where after one more drink, I realized I was getting trashed...
Friday was rough. Got sick - at work! and then again when I got home. Unbelieveable.

She's always right

On the way out, Kelly says "I think you will get into this more than I will."
I think she may be onto something....

"Down Time"

Okay, so I guess I have a little time before plans tonight.
We have recently joined the technology of what? the 90's! ...

I am embarking on the mission of "burning" or "ripping" (I'm not all that certain which one it is) all of our CD's to iTunes.

Yay! It's kinda fun going through some things I haven't listened to in quite some time. Hounds of Love by Kate Bush. Say what you want, it's really good. Really...

Okay, now for something completely different. WOLFMOTHER

Fragile Army

So thinking about how to start, I can not think of anything more appropriate then the Polyphonic Spree Holiday Extravaganza at the Granada.

We're huge fans as you know...

This year, the one and only AVS was on stage "working". It was fun to see her in the midst of the Spree. Decked out in her own uniform no less. lucky!

Then, between sets there was duelling drums...

Balance

A thankful gift to be sure. Buck + Camp, we were tickled with this - thank you!

Now though, we are trying to resolve how to balance the time in which we're having all this fun, with the time of posting the fun we had had.

It's unfamiliar territory... i hear it sometimes referred to as "down time"....hmmm, we will endeavor to try.

Sean!
